GMP accompany Seb Coe on visit to SportCity to award graduates of Personal Best scheme

GMP accompanied former Olympic champion Seb Coe to a ceremony held today to celebrate the success of the Personal Best programme. Personal Best is a free pre-employment programme which aims to act as a stepping stone back to work by offering training and volunteer placements in order to lift the aspirations of economically inactive people. Delivered by leading social enterprise company Sport4Life, based in Eccles, and in partnership with North West colleges and training institutions, the programme provides inspiration in the form of an opportunity to volunteer in London 2012.

The ceremony was held at the City of Manchester Stadium and saw graduates receive their certificates and move one step closer to becoming a volunteer at the London 2012 Olympics.
